A new tab to discover what is happening. Get started and find answers to common questions.
Install and start
Install Lootura from its official Chrome Web Store listing. Open a new tab in desktop Chrome or Brave to see the cover. If another extension controls your new tab, check which one is active in the browser’s extension manager.
Your edition and your view
Open the three-line menu. Choose Spain or US and Entities or Headlines. Your choice is saved for future tabs. Entities is the initial view.
Refresh content
Select Refresh at the bottom of the menu to check for updates. The story you are reading stays in place; received updates are available for a future tab. If no cover is available, the same action retries loading.
Why a story says “From the archive”
Older coverage is explicitly labelled. When current coverage is unavailable or the connection fails, the extension may use real content cached in your browser or bundled with the extension, preserving its original dates.
Replay the welcome
Select How it works at the bottom of the menu to replay the introduction.
